About us

Forests that connect the past with the future

Lány Forest Administration, a contributory organization of the Office of the President of the Republic

We ensure the care of a vast area in the heart of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area.

On an area of 6482.0157 hectares, we manage the natural wealth of our forests and several hunting grounds, among which the Lány Game Reserve stands out, covering an area of 3,003 hectares. The Lány Game Reserve is the third largest game reserve in the Czech Republic.

Our mission is to care for forestry and hunting, protect nature, and develop the unique heritage of forests, so that we preserve this exceptional area for future generations.

Besides forestry and hunting, we also focus on public awareness and education, bringing visitors closer to the importance of forests, wood, and nature protection.

Our goal is not only to protect this unique landscape, but also to strengthen the public’s relationship with nature and sustainable management.
