Forestry

We manage forest property covering an area of 6482.0157 hectares, which is located mainly in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. Our priority is sustainable forest management with an emphasis on nature protection, forest regeneration, and quality timber production.

The forest is not only a place for wood production but also a habitat for countless species of plants and animals. Trees in the forest not only fulfill an ecological function but also provide a place for rest, inspiration, and escape from the daily hustle and bustle.

Forest care

We regularly carry out forest stand regeneration, planting of new trees, and thinning with the aim of ensuring the stability and long-term sustainability of our forests. Our work also includes caring for young stands and protecting the forest against harmful agents.

Timber sales

We offer quality firewood and construction timber of various types and lengths.

Firewood: Deciduous and coniferous wood in 2 m lengths.
Timber Transport: Possibility of transport to a designated location using our hauling set – transport possible from 10 stacked cubic meters.
Individual Orders: We offer custom-made meter-length split wood for customer’s own transport.

Hunting has a long tradition in the Lány Game Reserve and is an integral part of our landscape management. The Lány Forest Administration manages four hunting grounds, including the unique Lány Game Reserve with an area of 3003 ha. Our other hunting grounds include Lánské lesy, Tok Brejl, and Amálie.

Animal care

Our priority is to maintain healthy and strong game populations. We regularly carry out feeding, monitor health status, and ensure sufficient tranquility in the game reserve. In the Lány Game Reserve, we breed European red deer, Japanese sika deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar, and in the Demonstration Enclosure, Dybowski’s sika deer.

Hunts and fee-based hunts

We offer fee-based hunts for interested domestic and foreign guests. During the hunts, we emphasize ethics, safety, and adherence to hunting traditions.

Sale of game meat

Fresh game meat from our hunting grounds is available. You can find the offer in the attached price list.

Game meat is sold in whole carcasses in the hide (without head and legs).
